Mymathsjourney also refered to as MMJ is an online Maths practice program aimed for primary learners.

It has been created to empower students, help teachers, and inform parents.

For each year group, multiple vehicles need to be built (jigsaw puzzles) to visit different lands.

MMJ has topics with different difficulty levels which are specific for each grade.

MMJ is a time saver not only for learners who need to practice regularly for less than 5 minutes, but also for teachers and parents. Teachers monitor the learners’ learning and reinforce concepts whenever it is needed without going into the hassle of correcting multiple worksheets. At the same time, parents track the child’s progression and achievement instantly through email. MMJ has been designed to make everyone’s life easier.

This Maths program has been created in order to be used as a bridge to connect home and school and thus help learners benefit tremendously.

From home :

Learners log in using a user name and password. They can choose to practice the same homework in 3 different time frames and can practice as many times as they wish :
1. Just Practice (answer 10 questions without any time limit) Learners can use “Just Practice” to test their skills at their own pace.

2. Timed Drill Timed Drill (answer 10 questions and check the time on the stop watch once completed) The “Timed Drill” is a way to challenge one self. Learners need to answer ten questions using the stop watch. This option can be used if learners want to challenge themselves in a shorter periodof time.

3. Just in time Just in time (answer 10 questions with the timer) “Just in Time” will be used if learners wish to practice with the same time frame used in class. They need to answer all the questions with a specific timer. It is a drill which is very similar to the one taken in the classroom under the teacher’s supervision.

At school :

Learners log in using the same user name and password to sit for the test under the teacher’s supervision and will answer 10 questions with a specific timer.

The learner should score a specific number of correct answers to earn a puzzle piece of the vehicle.

Once the test is completed, the parents will be informed about the results.

If the learner scored above the requirement a new skill will be assigned.

If the learner scores below the requirement, a second chance is given to practice again. This will help the learner fill up any Maths learning gaps. Hence, learners advance and reach their full potential.

To move up to a new land, the learner needs to collect all the jigsaw puzzle pieces of the vehicle.
